Woah. How long has it been? Times have definitely changed, I can tell you that. I've been slowly coming back to LJ, mostly for Jalex stuff. Which, BTW, has become my new obsession. I've kind of given up on Dasey, sorry to say. Obviously, it doesn't help that the show is done, and, honestly, it was all just a huge dissapointment. Jalex, on the other hand, is just a lot of fun. =D There aren't any false hopes about it happening in canon because, well, they're siblings. And there isn't any drama with the writers and the show itself (Wizards of Waverly Place) is just really funny. And yeah, rant over.

And aldkfjalsjfasjfaslfasfasdjfdsj that's all. I want to come back really badly! Maybe I'll start posting poetry and leave the fandom stuff alone. Blah I don't know. But expect to hear from me. Peace.

Dead, Dead.

Wow, I'm not dead, I promise. My LJ might be, though. Sorry. I've been pretty busy with school work (ew.) and debate work (ew-er.) and ACT prep (ew-est.). So I'm sorry. I really don't have much to say, but I just wanted to post something since I haven't in a while. I haven't been completely MIA internet-wise: I've been pretty active on Tygras and I've been reading on FF.net and stuff like that. I'm still thinking about making that video for the documentary, and the deadline's coming up soon, so I think I'd better get to it.

I also made a Dasey fanmix! I know, I was excited too. I don't have any art for it because I'm definitely challenged in that department, but I have the playlist and the list with the song quotes and all that. I think I'm gonna post it here, I just have to figure out how to upload it onto a USendIt or something like that. I might have it up tomorrow, so yeah.

So, now I'm just rambling, but yesterday, I totally spent the whole day watching movies. Not kidding. First was Best of Times, that 80's movie with Robin Williams about football? Yeah, I hadn't heard about it before that, but it was on Encore and I just put it on and watched it. It was okay. Next I watched a little bit of some really bad Dungeons and Dragons movie. Seriously, it was bad. It did, however, have the guy who voiced Scar in The Lion King as the evil dude. That amused me, and it had that little girl from Hocus Pocus in it too. I don't remember her name... Thora Something? Mkay, after that was Happily N'Ever After, which I really only watched because it had Sarah Michelle Gellar in it. The animation was pretty bad, but the movie was good. I watched Whale Rider next, which I think is my new favorite. It was very, very good. I looked it up after I watched it and wasn't surprised when I found out that the girl was nominated for an Oscar. Aand after that was Another Cinderella Story that was on ABC Family. I actually liked it quite a bunch, more than I liked the first one. I thought Selena was good in it.

Hah, this is a very long post, so I'm going to stop now. Tata for now.

School started back up today. Bleh. I lost my planner and I was freaking out because it pretty much owns my life. Thankfully I found it hiding in the back of my locker, and all was well. Gah, I just feel like all the stress I was feeling before break just came back in about two seconds. But, you guys don't wanna listen to me complain about my life, so I'm sorry.

On a lighter note, who watched iKiss?? Okay, I'll admit that I don't and never have shipped Seddie, but that last scene was just really freaking adorable. Maybe not adorable enough for me to ship Seddie now, but it was pretty darn cute. Nathan's delivery of "Hey, I hate you." was just, aww. The Creddie in me is hoping that in the next epi (iGirlify Sam?) Carly finds out and becomes jealous and realizes her feelings for Freddie... but no. Too much drama for iCarly. Meh, we'll see.

There's been an uprising in the LWD world thanks to Daphne and apparently the documentary is being revived. I was watching everyone's videos from before and it's kind of inspiring me to make my own. We'll see, if I'm not too busy with my school work, I'll think about it. Maybe. For those of you who aren't nervous to put your face on Youtube, check it outt. Eh? Eh?

This Is Great

Okay, the forthcoming is a story about when I was watching LWD with my mom last night, and all I can say is that I love Dasey so, so much. xD

I had recorded a bunch of episodes on my DVR for when there was nothing to watch on live TV, and I decided to watch Tuesday Afternoon Fever. This is definitely one of the better epis of season 4, what with Casey being normal!Casey and all. Anyway, I'm watching this with my mom, when, all of a sudden, she says, "I bet those two are going to get married." Now, you need to know that my mom knows nothing about Dasey and I've never talked to her about it before. I'm sitting there, very happy that my mother, of all people, can see the Dasey when it's never even been brought to her attention. I tell her that I can see it too and she began to talk about all of the chemistry Mike and Ashley have. This made me a very happy girl.

After that I put on March Break. My mom watched that one with me too and continued to talk about how if this wasn't a show for children they would have jumped each other by now and by the end of the episode she was saying, "They're definitely going to get together. I know it."  I took that opportunity to tell her about Dasey and the fandom and everything and she said that she agrees with everyone out here in cyberland.

So kids, this just goes to show that we are not crazy. If my mom can see the Dasey then it must be something. So there.

The First!

Well, I decided to make a LiveJournal. I don't really know what inspired me to do it, but I was just like, "What can I do to eat up a couple hours of my time?" and came up with this. I have no idea if I'm going to be reeally active here or whatever, but I figured that I should give it a try. I guess I should say some things about myself here for the first post.

I'm Abbey, or Desserose. I'm a 15 year old living in a small city in Iowa, and I'm excited to get out of high school. Two years and a half to go! Anyway, as far as the internet goes, I do alot. I kinda want to use this LJ to keep track of all of things I'm involved in on the internets, and meet new people that are into the same things I am. I have no idea as to what I'm going to post, but I guess I'll make it up as I go along.

So, first is fandom. There are quite a few fandoms that I lurk in, and I try to get involved, really I do, but nothing seems to stick. Anyway, the fandom that I'm obsessed with the most would definitely have to be Life With Derek. I've tried the hardest in LWD, and my Fanfiction.net account is mostly dedicated to that, as well as my Youtube, etc. I am a die-hard Dasey-er, and you can find me lurking over at Dasey Nation often. As far as other tween/TV fandoms go, there's a list of my ships and fandoms over at FF.net and I'll put a link up to that soon. I might make a list here too.

I'm also very into classic Disney and traditional animation. I really don't know why, but there's something about it that I love. I love to study these films and the theory behind them. That's pretty much it behind that.

Lastly are my pet games. I've played countless games that've either died or lost my interest. I'm currently the most active over at Tygras. #20, look me up. =]

So, that's it. My interests are varied, but that makes things interesting, right? Now I'm off to find my way around here and make my list of links. I might hit you up for a friend request, so be ready. ;D
